Sespe Creek Stables is located in the old Chumash Indian Territory by the Sespe Creek just below the Los Padres National Forest. "Sespe" is bended knee in the Indian language. Fillmore is along the Highway 126 corridor between Valencia which is on the Interstate 5 and Ventura which is on Highway 101.
Fillmore was established in 1887 by Gerome Fillmore, superintendent for the Southern Pacific Railroad. Historic Downtown Fillmore is along Central Avenue, there you will find La Fondita Restaurant, Bella's Teas & Treats, various Antique Shops and the Up N Arms Gun store. Our ranch is located on a private road. If you need a place to park and place your horse overnight, we rent by the day. Give us a call, let us know you are coming by, we will help you get some rest. We also welcome broodmares looking to stay at a quite location. At our place you will find Oranges, Lemons, Apples & Peach trees, Fresh Ranch Eggs, along with various Herbs specializing in Lavender, Sage & Rosemary.

Sespe Creek Stables has a private and quiet location nestled next to the Sespe Creek. We breed Paint & Quarter horses. We also offer temporary and permanant long term housing for your horse. Sorry no stallions allowed. If you are looking for a place while your Mare is pregnant, give us a call to come see what is available. Veterinarian & other services are available in the area along with feed delivery to the ranch.
